Here are the most common challenges and how smart coaching fixes them.

Between work, family, and life, it’s hard to know how much training is “enough” or where it should even fit. This leads to stress, second-guessing, and missed sessions.

Many athletes train based on motivation, pushing too hard on good days and skipping sessions when life gets busy. Without structure, progress stalls and injuries creep in.

Worrying about getting injured, being too old, or failing publicly keeps many people stuck saying, “I’ll do it next year,” even when they know deep down they’re capable of more.
This is not just a plan. It’s ongoing support, clear structure, and guidance as you move through every phase of training.

Some Frequently Asked Questions
TriFocus Coaching is for everyday athletes that have busy schedules through work or family life. I specialize in triathletes and runners that want to complete an event, but don't know where to start. I will help you reach your potential and get the best result possible. Typical events that athletes use TriFocus for are Half / Full Marathons, Ironman 70.3 and 140.6, and Olympic and Sprint Triathlons.
Not at all. Many of my athletes start with no formal training background, but will become a competitive athlete very quickly. This is because your I will build you a plan from where you are starting, not where someone else is, and will adapt the plan based on your progression.
Most generic plans fail because they don’t adapt to your schedule, stress, recovery, or life changes. My approach is fully customized and adjusted week-to-week.
Apps give you workouts. Coaching gives you a training partner that is checking in with you and supporting you along the way. I analyze your training, adjust as needed, and help you understand the why behind the work.
Your plan adapts. Training should support your life and not compete with it.
Yes - and in fact, I completed an international IRONMAN with a 2 year old while having a demanding job, no swimming and no previous bike experience to start. I personally was coached and having that support helped me cross that finish line with confidence and feeling energized after a long day.
